Terms of Service

Introduction

Welcome to Genace ("Genace", "we", "us", or "our"). Genace is a multimodal AI generation API gateway operated by an independent individual developer (not a registered company). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Genace website, API, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Service

Genace provides a unified API and Claude Code Skill for accessing third-party AI image and video generation models. Usage of the Services is metered through a Credits system: each generation request consumes Credits from your account balance based on the model and parameters used.

Accounts and Eligibility

• You must sign in via a supported OAuth provider (Google or GitHub) to create an account. Genace does not support username/password registration.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
• Generate content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or intended to harass, defame, or deceive others;
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with the security, rate limits, or Credit metering of the Services;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Services or the upstream AI providers we integrate with;
• Use the Services in a way that places excessive or abusive load on our infrastructure or that of our upstream providers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without prior notice.

Credits

• Subscription Credits: Free and Pro plan subscriptions grant a monthly allotment of Credits. Subscription Credits are valid only for the current billing period and expire 30 days after being granted; unused Credits do not roll over.
• Credit Pack Credits: Credits purchased as a one-time Credit Pack never expire and remain available on your account until used.
• Automatic Refunds on Failure: If a generation job fails due to an error on our side or an upstream provider's side, the Credits consumed for that job are automatically refunded to your account. This is a built-in product mechanism and does not require a support request.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for cash except as described in our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation

• Pro plan subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan) until cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features and any remaining Credits validity until that time.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

AI-Generated Content

• As between you and Genace, you own the output you generate through the Services, subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable law.
• Generation requests are fulfilled by third-party upstream AI model providers (such as fal.ai). Your use of generated output remains subject to the applicable upstream provider's terms and any usage restrictions they impose.
• We do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, original, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose. AI-generated content may inadvertently resemble existing works or contain errors.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and determining the legality and appropriateness of any generated content before using, publishing, or distributing it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Genace or its operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings, in which case your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Upon termination, any unused Credit Pack Credits are forfeited unless otherwise required by applicable law or our Refund Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Genace is operated by an individual developer rather than a registered corporate entity. These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We encourage users to first contact us directly to resolve any dispute informally; if a dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
