Flux resolution options and what they cost
Flux Pro v1.1 has a single resolution tier: 480p.
What this changes about your loop
There is no cheap iteration path on this model. Every prompt attempt costs the full 5 credits ($0.05 at the Enterprise rate), whether it is a throwaway test or the take you keep.
Two ways around it, both worth knowing before you commit:
- Draft elsewhere. Some models on the platform halve their price at 720p — see AI video API resolution tiers. Tune the prompt on one of those, then run the final pass here.
- Budget for the attempts. If this model is the one you need, the real cost per usable output is several times the per-call price. Plan the number, not the unit.
Sending anything else
resolution other than 480p fails validation locally with
400 INVALID_PARAM. Nothing is submitted upstream and
no credits are touched.
